Services

Tiny Tides mission is to educate and encourage water safety by building our swimmer’s trust and skills while teaching in an individualized and logically progressive approach. Our goal is to prevent drownings by building independent, confident, and safe swimmers.

Each of our private lessons are 30 minutes in length and will be customized around mastering the following skills depending on the swimmer’s abilities:

  • Entry level

    • Water Adjustment

    • Safety Skills

    • Breath holding / Submerging

    • Front and Back Float / Glide / Rollover

    • Kicking

  • Mid-level (Includes all skills listed above +)

    • Arm action on front and back

    • Combined leg and arm action on front (freestylye) and back (backstroke)

    • Dolphin kicks

    • Breathing to the side

    • Treading water

  • Upper-level (Includes all skills listed above +)

    • Breaststroke

    • Elementary backstroke

    • Sidestroke

    • Butterfly

  • We recommend that parents hop in the water alongside their tots to aid in the learning and communication process. Focus will be on water adjustment, safety skills, introductory swimming skills, as well as more advanced swimming skills as ability allows. *Please note that any child who is not potty trained must use a swim diaper under their swim suit.

  • We support those learning the basics of swimming as well as those who are moving on to more advanced techniques. We will customize your program to suit your needs and become a stronger, safer swimmer.

  • Swim lessons are available for older teens and adults who may be starting out or overcoming a fear, as well as those looking to gain proficiency in stroke skills. We’re here to work with you at your own pace.
