Welcome to Tiny Tides Learn to Swim Program

What we do

We offer private and semi-private swim lessons for toddlers, children, and adults. Our Learn to Swim program starts with fully supported and instructor led fundamentals and gradually builds into less supported and swimmer led progressions. Once our customers are swimming on their own, we will focus on stroke refinement and introduction of new skills and strokes. All swim instructors are certified, insured, and thoroughly background checked.

Why we do it

Our company’s founder, Lyndsey Almonte feels most at peace surrounded by water. 25 years ago, Lyndsey’s mom, Carroll Vaughan, formally created the Miami Riptides a non-profit organization that has grown into an internationally recognized water polo team that offers both recreational and competitive programs for young athletes. Naturally, Lyndsey grew up in the pool either swimming, playing water polo, coaching, or teaching kids to swim. Now a mother of four kids of her own whom she’s also taught to swim, Lyndsey’s dream is to do her part in educating and preventing death by drowning, the leading cause of unintentional deaths to children 1-4 years of age.

Locations and Costs

Lessons are taught out of Redland, Florida (SW Miami) for $75 per 30 minute lesson or $500 for a package of 8 lessons. We recommend going with the 8 lesson package, which will cover 2 weeks of lessons at 4 times per week. Lessons can also be taught out of the comfort of your own home at an increased rate.
